The government, producers, suppliers, and retailers then started the turn towards operating organic and the outcome of this activity was a surge in the number of producers switching to
organic products. The supply of organic milk grew quickly in response to market interest and financial help to switch to organic agriculture systems that do not apply synthetic pesticides (insecticides, fungicides, or herbicides) on pastures where cows feed. Organic cows are not fed GM cattle feed. This indicates that there is no chance of GM or solvent residuals being detected in
organic milk. It has been predicted that in the UK and the USA, our bodies contain marks of at least 300 potentially dangerous substances consumed from our food. Consuming organically produced food and drinking organic milk is a simple way for people to withdraw these drugs.
The famous press is running cow-wild over-analysis that supposedly shows organic milk is stronger than conventional milk. Let's view into this a bit deeper….
Organic milk has all the nutritional morality of non-organic milk but due to the cow's more natural menu, it also has some further health benefits such as larger levels of vitamin A, E, and antioxidants.
The prime concern that the organic milk industry is promoting is the huge content of omega-3 fatty acids, discovered abundantly in oily fish (such as salmon, herring, and cod) and walnut and fish oil. Omega-3s have been thought to defend against cancer and heart disease. This high content is excellent news as most mortals in the UK are lacking in Omega 3 fatty acids, which are also required for keeping supple and flexible joints, healthy growth, and healthy bones and teeth.
But are these advantages just escape nutritional supremacy claims? Many analysts argue that the volume of Omega 3 is so tiny that people should consume fish at least once a month instead and that buying organic milk for this object is nonsense.
The British Food Standards Agency announces it will examine the topic but has yet to be satisfied that organic milk is any more nutritious than non-organic milk. The absence of conclusive scientific analysis on the nutritional benefits of organic milk could lead to negativity in the overall organic market.
My views are this….you pay an organic value premium but you could be taking extra Vitamins, Omega 3, non-GM contaminated milk plus boosting your green lifestyle and a conventional way of farming. On that, I for one am served to spend more and will proceed to
drink organic milk.
